The laughter extravaganza of Saturdays, The Great Indian Kapil Show, has become a favourite among comedy enthusiasts, particularly for its long-awaited reunion of renowned comedians Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover.
At the helm of the show is Kapil Sharma, India’s wealthiest TV actor, commanding an impressive paycheck of Rs 26 crore for the first five episodes, as reported by News18, DNA India, and Zee Hindustan.
In contrast, Sunil Grover reportedly receives Rs 25 lakh per episode. This significant pay gap highlights that Sharma earns 20 times more than Grover for their collaboration on The Great Indian Kapil Show.
Other cast members like Archana Puran Singh and Krushna Abhishek command Rs 10 lakh per episode, while Kiku Sharda and Rajiv Thakur receive Rs 7 lakh and Rs 6 lakh, respectively.
The show boasts an array of popular guests, including Ranbir Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, Vicky Kaushal, and Aamir Khan.
Outside of The Great Indian Kapil Show, Kapil Sharma’s presence was felt in the film Crew alongside Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Diljit Dosanjh, where he reportedly earned between Rs 40 lakh to Rs 50 lakh for his cameo appearance.
