Months after spending over Rs 1,200 crore on a lavish three-day pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar, Gujarat, the Ambanis are hosting another grand bash for Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani’s upcoming wedding.
According to an Indian Express report, the festivities have commenced on a luxurious cruise, with 800 guests sailing from Italy to the South of France and back from May 29 to June 1.
For the second pre-wedding celebration, American rapper and songwriter Pitbull is set to perform on the luxurious cruise. According to a Hindustan Times report, Pitbull will be joined by Indian singer Guru Randhawa, known for hits like “Lahore,” “Tere Te,” and “Ishare Tere.”
While the exact amount Pitbull charges to perform at Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani’s extravaganza is unknown, several online sources and industry reports suggest he typically charges between $500,000 and $749,000 for a private performance.
A video of the popular American boy band Backstreet Boys, featuring Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell, performing at the second pre-wedding event has gone viral online.
Attendees include Shah Rukh Khan and his family, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor with wife Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan with brother Ibrahim Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and others.
