PM Narendra Modi inaugurated multiple key railway projects worth Rs 85,000 crore, on Tuesday.

The projects include the new Phaltan-Baramati line, railway workshops, loco sheds, etc.

The PM also dedicated two new sections of the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC).

Additionally, PM Modi inaugurated freight trains on the DFC.

To enhance the movement of goods, the PM dedicated 51 Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminals.

The PM also flagged off 10 new Vande Bharat trains, along with the extension of 4 existing routes.

These trains will connect key cities such as Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Lucknow.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw was also present during the event.
