Akasa Air is navigating through a turbulent phase
Sudden resignation of over 40 pilots pushed the airline in 'state of crisis'
But Akasa Air CEO Vinay Dube claims that the airline remains financially robust
Dube called Akasa Air a well-run airline with strong finances
Sudden exits caused pilot shortage and led to cancellation of multiple flights
Dube informed that they have a comprehensive ten-year plan in place
Airline claims to have pilots in various stages of training to operate over 30 aircraft
It sought DGCA’s intervention to enforce mandatory notice periods for resigning pilots
Moreover, airline is taking legal action in Delhi and Mumbai HCs against resigning pilots
Dube emphasised that their actions is not only breach of contracts…
…but also contravened civil aviation regulations of the country
