Indian Railways to convert retired train coaches into restaurants 

Railways is repurposing two abandoned coaches into theme-based restaurants

These coaches are at the Katra and Jammu railway stations

These restaurants have been christened Annapurna & Maa Durga

This unique initiative has been named “Beautiful Restaurants on Wheels”

It aims at transforming old train coaches into charming rail coach restaurants

Food-on-Wheels restaurants will feature stylish interiors and exteriors

These restaurants are expected to generate a combined annual revenue of Rs 50 lakh

These fully air-conditioned restaurants will offer a variety of dishes

The first coach restaurant is anticipated to open its doors by December
