PM Modi inaugurated Sudarshan Setu, a four-lane cable-stayed bridge in Gujarat on Feb 25

The bridge connects Okha to Beyt Dwarka island, enhancing accessibility and reducing travel time

Sudarshan Setu is 2,320 meters long, making it the longest cable-stayed bridge in India

The bridge is supported by two A-shaped composite pylons standing at a height of 129.985 meters

Costing Rs 979 crore, it features a visually striking design with steel pylons arranged in a fan-like pattern

The bridge is 27.20 meters wide, with 2.50-meter-wide footpaths on both sides. It has a composite steel-reinforced concrete deck

The total road length connected by the bridge is 2.8 kilometers. The spans include a 500-meter-long middle span

Solar panels with a 1 MW capacity are installed on the footpath shade

The project aims to benefit 8,500 residents on the island and accommodate two million pilgrims
