Metro Rail services on two sections of Purple Line commenced its operations on Oct 9

Trains are now running from Baiyapanahalli to KR Puram and Kengri to Challaghatta

Services on two sections began at 5 am without any formal inauguration

With this, Purple Line from Whitefield to Challaghatta has a total length of 43.49 km

The Purple Line of Namma Metro now has 37 metro stations

This has increased BMRCL’s operational network to 73.81 kms

Bangalore Metro network now has a total of 66 metro stations

Moreover, the last train from Whitefield would depart at 10.45 pm
