Triumph has listed the Daytona 660 on the Indian website, suggesting that the motorcycle will be launched soon.

The Daytona 660 will be the third product on the same platform, after the Trident 660 and the Tiger Sport.

The motorcycle features a full fairing like the original Daytona, however, offers a more relaxed riding position.

Powering the Daytona is the same 660cc in-line three-cylinder engine as the Trident and Tiger Sport.

However, in the Daytona, the engine makes 94bhp and 69Nm of torque, 14bhp and 5Nm of torque more than the other two.

In terms of hardware and equipment, the new Daytona 660 gets USD forks, a monoshock at the rear, 17-inch wheels, disc braks, and more.

The motorcycle gets a TFT instrument console and ride-by-wire.

Phone connectivity and navigation is an optional extra Triumph will offer.

The motorcycle has a seat height of 810mm and tips the scale at 201 kg.

When launched, the Daytona 660 will compete with the Kawasaki Ninja 650 primarily in India.
