SUVs are gaining popularity in India and carmakers are either updating them or launching new ones. Here are the best-sellers in September 2023.

In fifth place is the Hyundai Venue, having sold 12,204 units and registering 11 percent growth.

In comparison, Hyundai sold 11,033 units in September 2022.

In fourth place is the Hyundai Creta, having sold 12,717 units and registering a negative growth of 1 percent.

In contrast, Hyundai sold 12,866 units in September 2022.

The third-best-seller last month was the Tata Punch, having sold 13,036 units and registering 6 percent growth.

In comparison, Tata sold 12,251 units in September 2022.

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza takes the second spot, having sold 15,001 units and registering a YoY decline of 3 percent.

In September 2022, Maruti Suzuki sold 15,445 units.

The best-selling SUV in September 2023 was the Tata Nexon, registering sales of 15,352 units and 6 percent growth.

Last year, Tata Motors sold 14,518 units.
