Royal Enfield has introduced the Shortgun 650 at the ongoing Motoverse (formerly known as Rider Mania) in Goa.
It was first showcased as a pre-production concept as the SG 650 at EICMA 2021
It is based on the same parallel-twin engine platform as the other 650s from Royal Enfield.
Gets signature Royal Enfield elements such as a round headlamp, circular turn indicators, a teardrop shaped fuel tank, minimal side panels, and thick front forks.
Gets a modular design that lets it transform from a classic single-seater to a dual-seater
Powering the Shotgun 650 is the same 649cc, air/oil-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder which is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a slip and assist clutch. Expected output same as the other RE 650 twins.
Royal Enfield launched a limited-run Motoverse Edition of Shotgun 650 at the Motoverse 2023.
It comes wrapped in a dual-tone blue and black paint scheme with neon body graphics.
Bookings for this limited edition model close at midnight of November 25 while deliveries of these 25 units will commence from January 2024 onward
