Porsche Macan EV launched

Porche has launched he all-electric version of the Macan, priced at Rs 1.65 crore.

The new Macan EV is available in two versions, both powered by a 95kWh battery pack with dual motors on each axle.

The Macan 4 develops 400bhp while the range topping Turbo makes 630bhp.

In terms of design, the new Macan EV looks identical to its ICE counterpart, but has subtle changes to set it apart.

The Macan EV is 86mm longer than the previous model and has 540-litres of storage and a 84-litre compartment under the bonnet.

The interior gets three screens, one as the instrument cluster, one for the infotainment system, and an optional one for the passenger side.

The Macan EV gets a head-up display with AR tech and virtual navigation amongst others.

The Turbo version gets active suspension, while the Macan 4 gets a steel string suspension.

The new Macan can also be had with optional rear wheel steering.
