New Jawa 350 launched in India

The new Jawa 350 has been launched in India, priced at Rs 2.14 lakh.

T%he motorcycle maker has retained the round headlight design and the chrome tank, similar to the older bikes.

The shape of the seat and the full fenders have also been retained to give it the original look.

The new Jawa gets updates to its chassis, while it now has 178mm ground clearance.

The motorcycle gets a telescopic front fork, along with dual rear shocks.

The motorcycle rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, with disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS.

The motorcycle gets no other electronic aids, paying tribute to the original Jawas of the yesteryear.

Powering the Jawa 350 is a 331cc liquid-cooled engine that makes 22bhp and 28Nm of torque.

The motorcycle gets a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.

The Jawa 350's primary competition are the Royal Enfield Classic and the Bullet 350.
