Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet launched

Mercedes-Benz has launched the CLE 300 Cabriolet in India, priced at Rs 1.1 crore, ex-showroom.

The two-door convertible will be sold in a single variant as a CBU.

The CLE 300 Cabriolet features a large grille and a low-slung design, with AMG-themed sporty bumpers.

The sleek design language carries over to the rear of the two-door CLE 300 as well, with sleek tail lamps.

The car runs on 19-inch wheels and gets a retractable fabric roof.

The roof can be completely folded in 20 seconds when the car is under 60 kmph.

Inside, the CLE 300 Cabriolet's cabin is identical to the current-gen C-Class.

The two-door convertible gets a three-spoke steering wheel, a 11.9-inch infotainment system, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument console.

Powering the CLE 300 Cabriolet is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 48V mild hybrid system that makes 225bhp and 400Nm of torque.
