The new Mahindra SUV XEV 9e is based on brand-new skateboard platform which is called INGLO. Here are some top highlights.
Based on 2,775 mm wheelbase, it has a length of 4,789 mm, a width of 1,907 mm and a height of 1,694 mm. Has a ground clearance of 207 mm and a battery ground clearance of 222 mm.
The XEV 9e sits on 19-inch alloys with an option to upsize to 20-inch.
Like the BE 6e, it also comes with 2 battery pack options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The former gives 228 bhp while the latter gives 281 bhp. Both have 380 Nm of torque.
The XEV 9e sprints from 0 – 100 kmph in 6.8 seconds. The 79 kWh returns a driving range of 656 km in MIDC Phase 1+2 (ARAI) while WLTP claims 533 km.
The 79-kWh battery can be fast charged up from 20-80% in 20 minutes with a 175 kW DC charger.
It has a 43-inch digital screen stretching across entire dashboard, with 3 12.3-inch display stitched together in one panel.
Features Dolby Atmos along with a 16-speaker Harmon Kardon music system, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chipset, paired with a sixth-gen Adreno GPU, 24GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.
It comes with Auto Park function that uses 12 sensors to park at the right spot.
The safety features include 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera including reverse parking, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, a tyre pressure monitor and a Level 2 ADAS suite with five radars and one camera.
The Mahindra XEV 9e is revealed to be available starting at price Rs 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
