Lamborghini has launched the Urus SE hybrid super SUV in India at a price of Rs 4.57 crore (ex-showroom).

Here are some of the highlights of the top-of-the-line Urus.

Design-wise it is similar to the regular Urus. However, the Urus SE gets a new bonnet, sleeker Matrix LED headlights, new grille assembly, new rear spoiler, and new bumpers.

Inside the cabin, the Urus SE gets new dashboard panels, revised AC vents, new seats, and a larger 12.3-inch central touchscreen infotainement system.

As with all Lamborghinis, the Urus SE comes with tonnes of customisation options including over 100 exterior colour options and 47 interior finishes through the Ad Personam programme.

Under the hood, the Urus SE gets a familiar 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine which is retuned to develop 612 bhp and 800 Nm of torque on its own.

This engine is now paired with a plug-in hybrid system featuring a 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack located under the boot floor.

The battery pack supplies energy to an electric motor integrated into the 8-speed automatic gearbox pumping out an additional 189 bhp and 483 Nm. Total output stands at 789 bhp and 950 Nm.

Lamborghini claims an electric-only range of 60km. The Urus SE can run on pure EV mode at speeds of up to 130 kmph.

Urus SE offers all-wheel drive even in EV mode. 0-100 kmph sprint time claimed at 3.4 seconds. Top speed of 312 kmph.

Besides the regular Strada, Sport and Corsa modes, Urus SE comes with EV Drive, Hybrid, Performance, and the new Recharge mode.

The new Recharge mode (usable in Strada, Sport, Corsa and Neve modes) allows up to 80 percent of the battery to be recharged while maintaining optimal performance.
