Kia has revealed that the EV4 sedan will first make its debut in Korea in March 2025

The hatchback derivative of EV4 will be first available in the European market in the second half of this year.

Based on Kia’s 400V Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV4 is available in two variants — the standard 58.3 kWh and long-range 81.4 kWh battery configurations.

Powered by a 150 kW motor mounted on the front axle, the standard does 0 – 100 kmph in 7.4 seconds and the long-range in 7.7 seconds. According to Kia, both have a top speed of 170 kmph.

With a 0.23 Cd drag coefficient, the EV4 boasts a best-in-class range: 430 km (standard), 630 km (long-range), and 590 km (hatchback, WLTP).
The EV4 comes with Kia’s smartphone-based Digital Key 2.02 which provides functions like engine start, and remote-control functions and can be connected to up to 15 devices, including an Apple Watch via the app.
The EV4’s 30-inch wide-screen display consists of 12.3-inch, 5.3-inch and 12.3-inch screens. It also receives remote OTA updates.
