Kia has achieved a milestone in India by crossing 1.5 lakh unit sales of Carens since its launch in February 2022

Interestingly, 50% of the consumers prefer the top and mid trims of this popular family mover, which has features like sunroof, multiple drive modes, ventilated seats and connect car tech to name a few.

57% of buyers opt for a petrol powertrain while 43% opt for a diesel Carens.

Additionally, 62% buyers of Carens opt for a manual transmission

Recently in April 2024, the company re-launched the 6-seater variant of Carens which has received a good response.

Kia Carens is priced between Rs 10.52 lakh and Rs 19.67 lakh (ex-showroom)

Carens is available in 10 trims: Premium, Premium (O), Prestige, Prestige (O), Prestige Plus, Prestige Plus (O), Luxury, Luxury (O), Luxury Plus and X-Line.

Carens is available in three engine options:1. 1.5-litre  NA petrol (115 PS/144 Nm)2. 1.5-litre turbo petrol (115 PS/144 Nm)3. 1.5-litre diesel (116 PS/250 Nm)

Trasnmission options include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT, a 7-speed DCT, and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
