The 200cc adventure motorcycle segment is an interesting category, consisting of the CB 200X, V-Strom, and the XPulse.
The newly-updated Honda CB 200X features a full fairing, typical for an adventure motorcycle.
The V-Strom also borrows design cues from its larger siblings with a an angular fairing and a high beak.
The Hero XPulse does not feature any fairing apart from a short windscreen, but takes a more enduro bike design.
The CB 200X features USD forks, a monoshock, disc brakes at both ends, 17-inch alloy wheels, and an LCD instrument cluster.
The V-Strom gets telescopic front forks, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, disc brakes at both ends, and an LCD cluster with phone connectivity.
The XPulse also gets telescopic front forks, a monoshock, and disc brakes at both ends, however, its gets three ABS modes and 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels.
All motorcycles get official accessories, but the XPulse is the only motorcycle to get long travel suspension and other bits from the company to make it more off-road focused.
All three motorcycles are powered by a single-cylinder engine, however, the V-Strom has the largest displacement and makes the most power.
Amongst the three, the XPulse is the only off-road focused motorcycle while the CB 200X and the V-Strom are road-focused.
