Aston Martin is giving final touches to its upcoming flagship hypercar called Valhalla.
The V8-powered hybrid sports car is currently being tested at Silverstone.
The Valhalla was first displayed as a pre-production concept AM-RB 03 in 2019.
Limited to 999 units globally, production of Aston MArtin Valhalla to commence from 2024.
Intially conceptualised as a V6, the project has transitioned to V8 mid-engine layout with hybrid assist.
Powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine coupled with three electric motors generates a humongous 1000 bhp.
The hybrid setup is tuned for maximum power. Hence, it offers an EV range of only 9 km.
As for performance, the Valhalla can clock a top speed of 349 kmph and sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in meagre 2.5 seconds.
Valhalla is built around a bespoke carbon fibre tub and apparently deploys a seating position that’s inspired by the AMR23 F1 car. This leads to a 600kg downforce.
Market launch of Valhalla expected in 2025 in the United Kingdom.
