BMW has unveiled the all-new fourth-gen X3 globally which is expected to launch in India next year.

It sits on a new platform, and gets a heavily redesigned exterior, interior, and equipment. Here are some of its top highlights.

The new X3 is offered in three variants: diesel-powered 20d xDrive, the petrol-powered 20 xDrive and M50 xDrive trims, all featuring a 48V mild-hybrid setup.

In addition, there is a plug-in hybrid version of X3 on offer for the first time with a WLTP-claimed electric-only range of 81-90 km 

Gets an illuminated all-black kidney grille on the top-spec M50 XDrive trim.

Exterior highlights include redesigned headlamps with L-shaped daytime running lamps and 19-inch alloy wheels as standard with 20- and 21-inch units available as an option

Boasts of BMW’s curved display with the iDrive 9 14.9-inch infotainment system and 12.3-inch digital driver’s display. Also gets contras ambient lighting elements, forming a U-shaped pattern in the door pads and in the centre console.

Other  features include wireless phone charging, panoramic sunroof, a 15-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, heated sport seats, etc.

8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive standard on all variants of fourth-gen X3.

Fourth-gen BMW X3 is expected to arrive in India next year. Prices could start from Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom).
