All new Yamaha XSR900 GPAll you need to know

Motorcycle makers are taking the retro approach and the latest is the 2024 Yamaha XSR900 GP.

The motorcycle pays tribute to the old-school racers like the Yamaha YZR500.

The XSR900 GP is built around  a Deltabox-style chassis similar to the older race motorcycle, but tuned for better handling.

The motorcycle features a half fairing like the old school motorcycles and a rear seat cover that can be removed quickly.

The XSR900 GP gets a neatly integrated headlight and gets LED lighting all around.

The components however, are all modern such as fully-adjustable suspension front and rear, disc brakes, and more.

The motorcycle gets a TFT dash with a 6-axix IMU derived from the R1 featuring a host of electronic aids and ride modes.

Powering the motorcycle is an 890cc three-cylinder engine that makes 117bhp and 93Nm of torque.

The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a quickshifter.

The 2024 XSR900 GP will go on sale globally soon, however, availability in India is minimal.

For India, however, Yamaha is planning to bring the MT-09.
