Porsche has launched the new Panamera in India, priced at Rs 1.7 crore (ex-showroom).
The new Porsche Panamera retains its identical design language though it gets a revamped appearance and a more sportier look this time.
Standard equipment on the Panamera includes a 12.3-inch infotainment system, wireless charging for smartphones, eight-way adjustable seats and parking assistance.
The new Panamera comes with dual-chamber two-valve air suspension withPorsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard.
The Panamera will be sold with the 2.9-litre turbocharged V6 engine only, which makes 353bhp and 500Nm of peak torque.
The engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that helps the car accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 272 kmph.
Porsche also offers a hybrid version of the Panamera in the global markets, along with a V8 version, however, it will not be sold in India.
Sales of the third-generation Panamera had already started in India, and reservations had already been done when the car made its global debut.
It also feature high-resolution HD Matrix LED lighting system- dedicated lane brightening.
