After making its debut online, the 2024 KTM 390 Duke is now on sale in India.
The 2024 390 Duke has seen a major update, in terms of its chassis, engine, equipment, and more. Here's our first ride review.
The new 390 Duke gets a new trellis frame and an aluminium sub frame, which will be used for other versions of the 390.
The motorcycle gets sharper tank shrouds, a new headlight, and the rear shock is now offset to make room for the larger airbox, while also reducing the seat height.
KTM has taken extreme measures to reduce the weight and the motorcycle gets a new rear fender, no tyre hugger, and new wheels with hollow hubs.
All this has resulted in a great handling motorcycle, extremely flickable around corners.
At the heart of the new 390 Duke is a larger, 399cc engine that makes 45bhp and 39Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle also gets new WP Open Cartridge front suspension that is adjustable, while the front disc is mounted on the wheel like the RC390.
The Duke also gets a new 5-inch TFT cluster with three ride modes, traction control, quickshifter, and launch control.
Overall, the motorcycle is well put together, and is still the most powerful in the segment.
