BCCI SAYS HINDI NOT COMPULSORY FOR INDIAN COACH JOB
The new head coach of the Indian cricket team has to be eligible on nine counts as the BCCI advertised for the post- for the first time since its inception in 1928.

The advertisement has been put on public domain and out of the nine clauses, Criterion No.6 asks for knowledge in Hindi and other regional Indian languages. However, BCCI later cleared that the clause is mandatory but not compulsory.
