A heart-warming moment between a son and his mother captured on camera has recently gone viral on social media, striking a chord with many on the internet. In the video, a young man from Maharashtra’s Sindhudurg district is seen informing his mother of his selection into the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at a roadside stall.

Identified by media as Gopal Sawant, the recent CRPF recruit made sure that he revealed the news to his mother in as special a way as he could.

As he did not share the news at home or during a celebration, but along the road, at the very spot where his mother sold vegetables for years to support the family and her son’s dreams.

The video which has gone viral since being posted captured the unbridled joy of a young man and pride reflected in his mother’s eyes when he informed her of his selection into the CRPF.

“This is where everything began,” a resident in the video said, pointing to the footpath. “She worked here every day so her son could dream bigger.”

The video, shared on Instagram by user @vilas.kudalkar.52, shows Sawant’s mother listening calmly before her eyes well up with tears of joy on hearing the news. After Sawant breaks the news to his mother, the two share a long emotional embrace as family and friends gather to celebrate the milestone.
