A Delhi-based startup is winning hearts online after surprising their first-ever employee with a car. A video shared by design clothing brand Bluorng showed employee Rahul Ojha receiving the unexpected gift during a house party — with teammates cheering as the two founders urged him to “forget the metro from tomorrow”.
The now viral clip showed startup founders Siddhant Sabharwal and Mokam Singh raising a toast to Ojha during a house party before handing him the car keys amid raucous cheers. The group had then moved out into the open to gather around a satin-draped vehicle. The stunned employee then sat in his new Mahindra BE 6 as colleagues offered their congratulations.
“It’s very tough to work with us. I have always pestered Rahul a lot. He has always been available…that is the main thing. he has shown that most times you’re not looking for the best technical people. You’re looking for a wall, a support which is more than just work,” Sabharwal can be heard saying in the clip.
Netizens cheer
The clip has since gone viral across social media platforms — with netizens cheering for both Ojha and Bluorng. Some joked that they would soon apply for a job with the company while another user tagged the moment as truly “wholesome”. Others appeared to find inspiration in the gesture — with one Instagram user insisting they would save the idea and do something similar with their own team.
“That’s what loyalty deserves,” cheered one Instagram user.
“That’s how you create a community!! Not Just talk about it,” agreed a second.
“All founders are smiling. Saving this to do this for my team,” wrote a third.
“That’s the reason they’ll make it big,” predicted a fourth.
What is Bluorng?
The startup was founded by two Pearl Academy students in 2020. Pronounced “Blue-Orange,” it started as a student project blending fashion with visual storytelling — gradually growing into a premium streetwear brand with widespread recognition. Sabharwal and Singh had initially launched via Instagram and used limited-edition drops that never restocked to create exclusivity around bold, narrative-driven pieces.
