The Streamer Awards 2025 at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles on December 7 turned chaotic when social media influencer and ex-Only Fans star India Love unexpectedly rushed the stage, hijacking FaZe Adapt’s Breakout Streamer of the Year acceptance moment, Yahoo! Entertainment reported.

The high-energy event, celebrating top content creators, was buzzing with applause as Adapt’s win was announced. Love seized the microphone, congratulating him briefly before declaring her own picks: “Rakai should’ve won Breakout Streamer of the Year and DDG. I don’t care what y’all say. Shout out Rakai!”

‘India Love pulled a Kanye moment’

The crowd’s reaction was immediate and fierce. Polite clapping morphed into resounding boos, drowning out her words as the audience expressed shock and disapproval.

Viral clips captured the tension, with Love striding confidently on stage only to face a wall of jeers. Security intervened swiftly, escorting her from the venue amid flashing phones and stunned onlookers.

The outburst overshadowed the award, drawing comparisons to Kanye West’s infamous 2009 MTV VMAs interruption of Taylor Swift.

Online backlash exploded across platforms like Reddit, X, and TikTok. Critics labeled it a “cringiest” and “desperate for attention” stunt, with one Reddit user calling it “weird behaviour. Lame as hell.”

Others dubbed her a “female Kanye” or “bootleg Kanye,” questioning her relevance. Defenders argued she spoke the truth, insisting Rakai and DDG were robbed, with comments like “She didn’t ruin nothing, y’all are just selective” and “She didn’t tell no lie.” Streamers Asmongold and xQc weighed in, echoing the Kanye parallels.

The incident amplified the night’s other controversies, including host Fanfan’s Diddy comparison to Kai Cenat, which also drew ire.

Love has not reacted to the situation

Love, known for her OnlyFans exit after earning $2 million and past drama like infidelity rumours, has not commented publicly. Videos have racked up millions of views, cementing the moment as the event’s viral headline. Fans, however, remain split as some see unfiltered passion, others see tasteless disruption in a night meant for celebration.
