A tech professional working at Google has struck an emotional chord online after sharing a video of his grandfather visiting the company’s Bengaluru campus. The clip, posted on Instagram by Manish Singh, captured him showing his grandfather and other relatives around the campus and spending good time in the arcade section.
The video further showed Singh and his grandfather spending time together across the campus, sharing a meal and exploring the space. Singh said the visit carried deep personal meaning as it reflected a journey shaped by family belief and encouragement.
A proud moment years in the making
Speaking in the video, Singh recalled how his grandfather had always believed in his potential. Seeing that belief come full circle during the visit made the moment especially meaningful. He shared that watching his grandfather react to the surroundings and experience the workplace firsthand was both emotional and fulfilling.
The caption of the video read, “From his dreams… to my reality. Today I got to show my Nanaji the place I once only dreamed about — Google. The smile on his face > everything I’ve achieved.”
Small moments, lasting memories
The two also cycled around the campus, a moment Singh said reminded him of childhood days when his grandfather had first taught him how to ride. Revisiting that memory in a new context added a nostalgic layer to the experience.
The visit also included lighthearted activities like playing games and spending time together indoors, turning the outing into a family moment rather than just a workplace tour. Singh noted that sharing these experiences with his grandfather made the day far more special than any professional milestone.
