Winter Olympics 2026: USA vs Canada Ice Hockey Classic

The Winter Olympics in 2026 in Italy saw a classic USA vs Canada All-American Ice Hockey final. For the first time since 1908, USA won a Men’s Ice Hockey Gold beating the arch-rivals Canada. With Russia not being there, it was easy for them to make the final, but to beat Canada, which holds the record for most Gold medals in the sport at the Winter Olympics, it was phenomenal. Team USA did it in over time, taking the game 2-1. They also won the Women’s Gold, once again beating Canada.
