Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is commonly known as ‘Captain Cool’, both on and off the field. It is very rare to witness the 36-year-old losing his temper but one such incident happened during the second T20I between India and South Africa at Centurion on Wednesday. Men in Blue were looking to finish off their innings on a high note with both Dhoni and Manish Pandey blasting off the Proteas after the Indian top order failed to make an impact. Dhoni clearly looked upset with Pandey and was seen shouting angrily just before the second ball of the final over.

After India losing the toss and had to bat first, South Africa blasted India’s top order in less than 50 runs. After it, Dhoni and Pandey stitched together a 98-run partnership for the fifth-wicket, to take India to a defending total of 188 for 4. The 36-year-old was slow at the start but picked up the pace later in the innings. However, it was Pandey who anchored the innings as he remained unbeaten and scored 79. Here is the video of MS Dhoni getting angry on Manish Pandey:

After losing the Wanderers T20, Kohli praised the hosts for their effort and said that they took calculated risks which helped them. South Africa rode on some mind-boggling performance from Heinrich Klaasen and JP Duminy to beat India by six wickets.

“South Africa took calculated risks, credit to them. We didn’t really have problems with the conditions, it was a constant drizzle, was fine to play. We expect them to show a fight and show some heart and they deserved to win tonight,” Kohli said.

The series is now level at 1-1 and the final T20 will be played on Saturday. Virat Kohli would like to end the series on a high by winning this match and extending the dominance over the hosts.
