Indian cricket legend Virender Sehwag took to social networking site Twitter on Tuesday to express his joy at Yogeshwar Dutt’s London Olympics bronze getting upgraded to silver. Dutt had won a bronze medal in wrestling at London Olympics 2012, but had a disappointing run at Rio Olympics 2016, after losing in the first round. Though, the London Olympics 2012 silver medalist, Russian Besik Kudukhov’s failure in dope tests mean that Dutt’s bronze medal gets upgraded to a silver.
Sehwag, who after retirement from all forms of cricket has been fairly active on Twitter was one of the most flamboyant batsmen of this era. This fearless approach of his is often seen on Twitter, as he takes on certain issues and gives his opinion with a touch of light heartedness. Sehwag, this time, has taken Ashish Nehra’s way overdue use of a smartphone and poked fun at it. He also mentioned the T20 series in the United States of America in his tweet.
