Apart from batting, the Indian captain, Virat Kohli is known as a fitness freak and it is not surprising if he wants his teammates to be fit too. Those who have followed Kolhi’s career from the earliest know that he was never the healthiest player in the park. It is his sacrifices, discipline and fitness regime that sets him apart and makes him a god-like example for other youngsters in India and the globe at large to follow. In a video shared by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday, Kohli can be seen working hard during the work out session in the gym. BCCI took to Twitter and said,”MUST WATCH: What goes into the making of captain @imVkohli’s well sculpt body? Find out here: #TeamIndia.”
Also, the video shows Kohli getting fitness tips from his strength and fitness coach Shankar Basu. Following this, he can be seen doing spot running and sweating. He can also be seen doing weights followed by lunges – all carried out at frenetic pace and duration that would make people’s eyes water. During the lunges, Pandya looks at Kohli with awe and amazement.
