Controversial Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has insisted that he will not change his behavior in the upcoming season, but admitted that his sole objective would be to win tournaments in 2016.
Kyrgios had sparked controversy when he made lewd remarks to Stan Wawrinka during their Montreal Masters match last year. He was also handed a suspended ban and a fine by the ATP tour for his remark.
Reflecting on his previous season, the 20-year-old mercurial player said that although he had a roller coaster ride in the previous year, he added he has no regrets for his behavior, News.com.au reported.
Kyrgios said that he had grown up as a person since the incident, insisting that he had been trying to become much more mature.
The Australian tennis-brat would play along with retiring Lleyton Hewitt for Australian Green at the Hopman Cup before heading into the Australian Open.
