The man, who was not even in the reckoning for being in the playing 11 of the Indian team once, is now the apple eyed boy of the country as India win the T20 World Cup 2026, beating New Zealand in a one-sided final on March 8 (Sunday), 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He was named Player of the series for the tournament. And the hero of every game, Jasprit Bumrah was once again the hero as he finished with figures of 4/15 in the final. He was named Player of the match in the final.
