Team India’s six-machine Yuvraj Singh is back in his fiery form in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2017. In his last encounter against Pakistan, the left-handed batsman from Punjab, showcased his spectacular batting skills by hitting a timely half century off just 29 balls to lead India’s victory. Yuvraj also bagged the Man of the Match award for his hard hitting knock. Yuvraj is currently touted as a key player in Indian squad as the team looks to defend its ICC Champions Trophy title against eight best international cricket teams of the world.
However, not just for his performance on the field, Yuvraj is also known for his off-field dramatics. He took to Instagram to share a throwback image of himself along with Ashish Nehra and fans are awestruck. Yuvraj also put a eye-ball grabbing caption in the image – it was a personal message to old team-mate Ashish Nehra that the jacket he had donned was actually his even as he complimented his old friend’s hairstyle. He wrote: “Serious throwback ! Mr nehra that is my jacket love the hairdo @mightywillow.”
Yuvraj can be seen sporting a traditional Afro look. Both Yuvraj and Nehra have been teammates since long time as they have played for India from North zone at domestic level, age-group level and even in the senior team. They are teammates even now as both play for the same franchise, Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

From being termed as India’s six-hitting machine, to his fight against cancer, he has seen it all. Even Nehra was once considered as a key player of the India Test and one-day squad however, he is currently out of the running with many young seam bowlers coming into the fray.
