Top seeded shuttler Kidambi Srikanth remained as the only Indian contender at Indonesia Masters Grand Prix after storming into the semi-finals of the men's singles event on Friday.

Top seeded shuttler Kidambi Srikanth remained as the only Indian contender at Indonesia Masters Grand Prix after storming into the semi-finals of the men’s singles event on Friday.

Srikanth claimed a comfortable 21-10, 21-5 win over Malaysia’s Teck Zhi Soo in a contest that lasted only 24 minutes.

Meanwhile, PV Sindhu crashed out of the women’s singles event after suffering a 21-23, 13-21 defeat against He Bingjiao of China.
