India shooter Arjun Babuta delivered a stellar performance at the Paris Olympics 2024 on Monday but could only secure the fourth position in the Men’s10m Air Rifle final. Babuta total score ended to be 208.4 up to which, he consistently managed to be in the top 3 positions throughout the final round.

Despite his strong showing, a few critical misses during the final elimination round allowed Croatia’s Miran Marcic and Sweden’s Victor Lindgren to overtake him for the bronze and silver medals, respectively. The gold went to China’s Shen Lihao, whose performance was nothing short of extraordinary.

Shen’s total of 252.2 not only secured him the top spot but also set a new Olympic record. Babuta’s impressive effort, though not rewarded with a medal, showcased his skill and competitive spirit on the world stage.
