Star shuttler and gold medalist from Rio Olympics, Carolina Marin has joined Hands with Masoom to help young Indians and fight against sexual abuse of children. She lend her support for the cause through her tweet that she posted on February 6, 2017. She also recorded a video and posted it along with the tweet.
Her message read as, “We must protect our children! ????❤️ I support Young Indians project Masoom against sexual abuse!” in the video she said that she is very happy to be associated with this initiative and will give her best to fight against the sexual abuse against young Indian kids.
“Child safety in a very important subject and I am very happy to spread about project Masoom, which is an initiative by Young Indians…Let us lend our hands to protect children of our countries against child sexual abuse,” Marin said.

Carolina Marin became popular in India after defeating India’s star badminton player P.V. Sindhu in the singles final of the 2016 Summer Olympics Brazil with a score of 19-21,21-12 and 21-15. However, Sindhu became the first Indian woman to win a silver medal in the history of Olympic games.
