In the most recent such incident, Mohammad Kaif has again been bashed on Facebook for sharing a picture with his son while playing chess. The image was posted on Thursday afternoon in which Kaif can be seen playing chess with his young son.

Not too long ago, Indian cricketer, Mohammad Kaif was in the news for sharing pictures of ‘Suryanamaskar’ on his Twitter handle. Back then, he was bashed by people online who referred to the act as un-Islamic. Since then, many other cricketers like Irfan Pathan and Mohammed Shami have been trolled too. Both Irfan and Shami had to face surfers’ ire because they decided to share pics of their wives while Dangal fame actress Fatima Sana Sheikh was also attacked. Even the most simple actions by these celebrities have attracted extreme reactions.

In the most recent such incident, Mohammad Kaif has again been bashed on Facebook for sharing a picture with his son while playing chess. The image was posted on Thursday afternoon in which Kaif can be seen playing chess with his young son. Some netizens took him on and said that the game is against Islam. Kaif had shared an image with his son with the caption that read as, “Shatranj Ke Khilaadi.” Check out here how people on Facebook reacted to the picture:

Mohammad Kaif has represented India in 13 Tests and 125 ODIs in which he scored 624 and 2753 runs respectively. Kaif was also India’s Under-19 captain and led the team to a U19 World Cup title in 1999. He is widely regarded as one of the best fielders to represent India at international level. Mohammad Kaif later joined Indian National Congress and contested 2014 Lok Sabha election from Phulpur in Uttar Pradesh but lost to the current deputy CM of the state, Keshav Prasad Maurya.
