Bad pitch condition helped the Australian cricket team to save the T20 series against India with a 1-1 draw. It was indeed a much pumped-up crowd at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. The pitch was to go, however, a damaged outfield did not allow the third T20 match to take place. Australia looked a much-improved side in the last match against India. Warner promoted Henriques to No. 3 – a move that worked on the day. On the other hand, India might have given chance to a few players in the squad including Ashish Nehra, who recently announced his retirement. KL Rahul whose role has been reduced to 12th man was another player who could have been in playing 11. Today’s game might not have just given the winner a T20 trophy, but also the chance to smooth out a few of the many rough edges that both teams possess.
