India vs Australia 2nd ODI: Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first for the second time in the row. India is playing an unchanged XI. For India, the festival season has just extended to the cricketing field. India has won its last seven matches in this format and is in top form. Even the top order failed to perform, Hardik Pandya and MS Dhoni’s knocks once again proved that this side isn’t dependant on just a few big names. Having said that time is running out for Ajinkya Rahane. The Test vice-captain was Man of the Series in against West Indies but has failed to impress in last two games. With KL Rahul sitting out, he may not get too many opportunities. As far Australia is considered, David Warner and captain Steve Smith certainly hold the key. However, from what we saw in the last match, the Indian team cannot take Glenn Maxwell lightly either.

Match Update: Virat Kohli won the toss and he has decided to bat first. India lost Rohit Sharma early but Virat Kohli combined with Ajinkya Rahane to steady the ship. They added 102 runs for the second wicket before Rahane got out for 55. Kohli departed for 92 and the middle-order failed to carry on the good work. Australia while chasing are at 202/9 after 43  overs.
