India have taken a first-innings lead of 304 runs before declaring at 500/9 third day of the second Test against West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica on Monday. Ajinkya Rahane played a clinical knock of 108 runs, scoring his third century in four innings.
Before this, the visitors reached 358/5 after opener Lokesh Rahul smashed a clinical 158 runs in on Day 2 of 2nd Test at Kingston, Jamaica. India were able to take a lead of 162 runs over the Caribbeans with Ajnkya Rahane and wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha still rotating strike at end of day’s play.
Earlier, Cheteshwar Pujara and KL Rahul’s partnership of 121 runs for the second wicket was broken by Roston Chase.
