Here are all live cricket score and updates from the India vs Bangladesh Test match at Hyderabad. Another good day for India as Ravichandran Ashwin became the fastest bowler to 250 Test wickets and ensured that India is a dominating position by the end of day’s play. Bangladesh finished at 103/3 and still need 356 runs to win the match but that won’t be on their mind at this stage. For now, avoiding a loss should be their primary target. Ideal strategy would be to break the game in sessions and phases and set target for each session instead of thinking ahead.

Shakin Al Hasan (21*) and Mahmudullah (9*) are still out there and Mushfiqur Rahim is yet to come. These three are the most experienced batsmen of Bangladesh and they need to bat for majority of overs if the visitors want to save the match. This isn’t a typical Indian pitch, yes the odd ball is turning but the wicket is still good to bat on if the batsmen apply themselves well. They just need to be patient and calculative in their approach.

Congratulations to India’s blind cricket team for winning the T2o Blind World Cup final against arch-rivals Pakistan:

Here are live cricket score and updates from the India vs Bangladesh Test at Hyderabad:

4:42 PM: Day 4, Stumps: So, that’s it for today. India will go back satisfied, they know the match is their to win and it’s just the matter to time before they could start celebrating. Virat Kohli would be delighted with his side’s performance. India bowled well, fielded well and certainly batted well in the afternoon.

4:35 PM: Another decent partnership for Bangladesh. Shakib Al Hasan and Mahumdullah have added 28 runs for the third wicket so far. They are certainly playing for stumps here.

4:25 PM: India have defeated Pakistan in the final of T20 World Cup for Blind:

India vs Pakistan, Blind T20 World Cup: India defend their title by winning the final by 9-wickets

4:11 PM: OUT! Another wicket for India, Ashwin strikes. The other set batsman Mominul Haque is also gone for 27. Brilliant catch by Ajinkya Rahane once again.

4:03 PM: OUT! Right when it looked like Bangladesh may get through the day’s play without any other casualty, Rockstar Jadeja came back into the attack and provided India with the important breakthrough. It was an excellent catch by Ajinkya Rahane in the slip as well. Soumya Sarkar has to go for 42.

3:40 PM: It’s been a good phase for Bangladesh. They have looked solid and the best part is that the batsmen have not gone into a shell. They are not holding their strokes back and are going after poor balls.

3:20 PM: Soumya Sarkar and Mominul Haque are doing a decent job for the visitors right now. They have got a small partnership going. But, the ball has started to turn and ideally, India would like to pick at least two more wickets before stumps today.

3:00 PM: A good short ball by Bhuvi, Soumya Sarkar wanted to get out of the way but couldn’t. The ball hit him on the grill of the helmet and a part of it came off. Indian team looked concerned but he is back on his feet. Some other day, against a quicker bowler, it could have been nasty.

2:53 PM: OUT! India gets the big wicket of Tamim Iqbal and it’s that man again, R Ashwin. The actual appeal was for LBW, umpire shook his head but least did they know that Kohli had caught the ball and he signaled for a catch appeal. The decision went to the third-umpire and Tamim had to go.

2:50 PM: Here is an interesting fact about Tamim Iqbal. He has scored the fastest as well slowest Test century for Bangladesh. If he break anyone of that record today, his side will be happy.

Meanwhile, this is how Pujara scored his half-century:

2:35 PM: So we are live again. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will start for India an he would be hoping to pick some quick wickets with the new ball. R Ashwin will start from the other end, he holds the key for India in this innings.

2:10 PM: Tea, Day 3: India have extended their lead to 458 runs and have declared the innings.

2:oo PM: Ajinkya Rahane got out for 28 runs but the rockstar Jadeja has arrived in style hitting a four and six. He looks in a destructive mood.

1:50 PM: We are heading towards the tea break and one could sense the declaration coming anytime soon. India’s lead is now 412 runs. That’s more than Bangladesh scored in the first innings and batting in the fourth innings will be even tougher.

1:30 PM: OUT! Caught by Mahmudullah. Shakib Al Hasan provides Bangaldes the big wicket of Virat Kohli. The Indian captain was looking for quick runs before declaration so was playing too many strokes in the air and had to pay the price. Ajinkya Rahane is the new batsman in.

1:15 PM: An exciting phase for India. Both the batsmen are taking on the bowlers. Pujara, in particular is playing out of his comfort zone and is outscoring Virat Kohli. He went for the drinks break with a six. His strike-rate is 116 while Kohli’s scoring rate is of 96.

66 runs have been in scored in last 10 overs. After the drinks break, expect these batsmen to switch from ODI mode to T2o mode.

1:00 PM: Two of India’s most experienced batsmen have combined to help the side recover from a poor start. Bangladesh have diverted from their strategy too. They started off with a good line but now the bowlers are leaking too many runs.

12:45 PM: Kohli needs to decide the target:

12:35 PM: OUT! Another one down for India, this time it’s KL Rahul. He goes for 10. another low score for him. KL Rahul and Murali Vijay’s opening pair now averages 20.36. This wicket will Bangladesh a lot of confidence. Virat Kohli walks in.

12:30 PM: Murali Vijay is gone for 7 and India have lost their first wicket. It was a poor shot Vijay, the ball was outside off and begging to be hit but he just reached out for it and ended up edging it. Surprisingly, Pujara is the new batsman in.

12:15 PM: A historic day for India for sure:

12:10 PM: Good afternoon, we are back live after the lunch break. KL Rahul and Murali Vijay are out in the middle, expect some fireworks in this session. They will go for their shots and look to score quick runs. I won’t be surprised if Virat Kohli or even if Ravindra Jadeja comes out to bat number 3 ahead of Cheteshwar Pujara.

11:55 AM: This is how Ashwin celebrated his landmark wicket:

11:45 AM: This is how Mehedi Hasan was castled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar:

11: 30 AM: That’s Lunch! Both the sides would be happy with the first session, 67 runs were scored in 24.5 overs and 4 wickets fell in the morning. India’s decision to bat again could be based on the fact that they would want the pitch to deteriorate further.

Indian openers Murali Vijay and KL Rahul are out, only 1 over to be bowled before lunch.

11:20 AM: OUT! Mushfiqur Rahim is gone. His brave innings come to an end. Bangladesh captain departs for 127. He should be proud of that innings.

11:08 AM: OUT! Taskin Ahmed edged that one off Jadeja and Rahane doesn’t miss too many in slips. He takes another good catch, India now have a chance of dismissing Bangladesh before lunch.

11:00 AM: Only 30 minutes are left for lunch and India is yet to remove Mushfiqur Rahim from the crease. He is been brilliant and this innings will give a lot of confidence to his teammates to come back and work harder in the second innings.

10:40 AM: Century for Mushfiqur Rahim, an innings of real character by Bangaldesh captain. The little man is playing a classic innings here full of determination. Bangladesh is still 335 runs behind so he knows that his work is not finished yet.

10:20 AM: OUT! Taijul Islam is caught by Wriddhiman Saha off Umesh Yadav’s bowling, third wicket for him. He departs for 10. Taijul never looked comfortable and was struggling throughout his innings. He was in position to face the short balls and finally ended up edging a delivery.

10:10 AM: Rahim is still looking solid but Taijul Islam has struggled. He is having a tough time and the technique is being exposed. Still, he has managed to survive for 34 balls which is a big achievement.

9:55 AM: It’s been a very slow start for Bangladesh. Only 5 runs have been scored so far in almost half an hour. Mushfiqur Rahim needs to make sure that he doesn’t go in shell and keep scoring as sooner or later, India will get the wickets. Only 5 runs have been scored from 39 balls so far.

9:34 AM: OUT! Castled by Bhuvi. He is delighted and so is Virat Kohli. What a start for India, Mehedi Hasan departs for 51. It was a quick delivery and too good for Hasan. But, it was a brave knock from the youngster.

9:30 AM: Good morning folks! So, we are live for Day 4 action between India and Bangladesh at Hyderabad. Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehedi Hasan are out and so is the sun.

It’s a bright morning and conditions look good for batting. We saw few balls turning yesterday and you can expect more of that today. However, this isn’t a pitch where batsmen would be scared of batting. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will start for India.

9:20 AM: Umesh Yadav talking about his bowling:

9:15 AM: Aakash Chopra is ready for Sunday drama, are you?

9:00 AM: It was a brilliant spell by Umesh Yadav:

Brief Scores: India 687/6 decl. (Virat Kohli 204, Murali Vijay 108, Wriddhiman Saha 106*; Taijul Islam 3-156) lead Bangladesh 322/6 (Mushfiqur Rahim 81*, Shakib Al Hasan 82; Umesh Yadav 2-72) by 365 runs.

Here are some statistics from Day 3:

1. Mushfiqur Rahim became the 4th Bangladesh batsman after Habibul Bashar, Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan to score 3000 runs at Test cricket.

2. This is only the second time that Bangladesh has batted for more than 100 overs against India in a Test innings. The only other instance was when they batted for 153.3 overs in 2000 in their first ever Test match.
