He is a right-hand fast bowler and with a lightening bowling speed of 140kmph- 150kmph, he is one of the most exciting young pacers of the current generation. What adds to his powerful attack is the fact that his ball swings both ways without hampering the speed. This ability of Kagiso Rabada makes him stand out from the rest of his contemporaries.

Rabada first caught everybody’s eyes with his performance in 2014 Under-19 World Cup semi-final. The 21-year-old cricketer took 6 wickets for 25 against Australia and needless to say, won South Africa the title. It was not long before that he signed his franchise contract with Lions and by the end of the year, he had been included in the national One Day International and Test squads. He continued to mesmerise people with his performance the next year and proved himself in the longer format as well.
