LSG vs MI Highlights: Lucknow Super Giants win by 12 runs! A hard-fought contest, but LSG hold their nerve to come out on top. Their bowlers kept things tight in the death overs, ensuring the target remained just out of reach. A well-earned victory!
Shardul Thakur’s over was arguably the turning point—he executed his plans to perfection, keeping Mumbai batters in check and conceding just five runs. In a chase that came down to fine margins, that over proved decisive.
Tilak Varma retiring out and Mitchell Santner walking in was another intriguing moment. Given Tilak’s struggles today, it seemed like a tactical move to bring in someone fresh. But with Santner not being a specialist finisher, it was a bit of a gamble. In the end, Lucknow capitalized on those small moments to seal the win.
