India vs Australia: ‘Wolverine’ Hugh Jackman calls Virat Kohli’s men superheroes, backs them to win Test series

Hugh Jackman said that even though Australian team might have beaten India in the first Test, Virat Kohli's boys will make a bolder comeback because that's what superheroes do.

In a major boost to the Indian cricket team, X-Men star Hugh Jackman who is known for his Famous portrayal of superhero Wolverine in the X-Men series has come out in a Facebook video and said that even though Australian team might have beaten India in the first Test, Virat Kohli’s boys will make a bolder comeback because that’s what superheroes do. His statement came in a 53-second video where the 48-year-old Australian actor talked about his love for the sport and mentioned that India is one of his favourite cricket team.

The actor is currently promoting his new movie, Logan which is set to hit the theatres worldwide on March 3, 2017. He may be currently busy in promoting the film but the video reveals that the actor is still following cricket.

This what Jackman had to say in the video, “Namaste to all my fans in India!! Do you guys know that cricket is my favourite sport? And what a great journey you and your cricket team have been going through in the last few years! Your superheroes have been overpowering all the teams in the World. But my Aussie mates have just got the better of your team in the first match….eh…(Wink) But I know that the Indian team is gonna play bold… bolder than ever…cause that’s what superheroes do…that’s what Logan does.”

This isn’t the first instance where Hugh Jackman has come out and revealed his love for the sport. In the past, he played cricket against legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne and smashed the leg-spinner to show that he is not a rookie.
