Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that his side will never give up their Premier League title hopes despite suffering a 0-3 defeat at the hands of Liverpool at Anfield.
It was a third consecutive defeat for City. Pellegrini’s side had last claimed three points when they defeated Sunderland four weeks ago.
Reflecting on their defeat, the Chilean said that it was just a bad moment, adding that there was a chance for City to earn 33 more points.
The 62-year-old, however, called on his side to continue to fight as much as they could and try to add the most amount of points in their account in order to remain in the title race.
Wenger said that his side’s focus should not confined to a particular game, but they should rather concentrate on improving their overall Premier League performance, the Guardian reported.
City are currently fourth in league standings and are 10 points adrift of surprise leaders Leicester City. They will next lock horns with Aston Villa on Saturday.
