T20 World Cup Points Table: The T20 World Cup 2026 has finally seen the end of the group stages with eight teams qualifying for the Super 8. While India topped Group A, West Indies remained the leaders of Group C and South Africa too Group D.
But the biggest surprise came from Group B where Zimbabwe took the top spot, beating Australia and Sri Lanka enroute Super 8. The last match of the group stage was held on February 20 where Australia beat Oman. Here’s the updated T20 World Cup 2026 points table, as of February 21.
Zimbabwe top Group B
The side led By Sikandar Raza has moved from strength to strength and reached the zenith of it’s T20 World Cup showing so far, remaining undefeated so far in their campaign, beating Sri Lanka in their final group stage game and taking the top spot in the group as well.
Group A: India, Pakistan make it though
The Indian team remained unbeaten as they head into the Super 8. Pakistan followed in the second spot after a comprehensive win against Namibia. The USA, the Netherlands and Namibia, as expected couldn’t make it through even after impressive showing.
Group C and D: South Africa and West Indies remain unbeatable
Groups C and D have reached a predictable conclusion. The West Indies and England have survived early scares to secure the top two spots in Group C, while South Africa remain the only team in the tournament to look completely unbeatable sitting at the top of Group D with a flawless record.
The tournament will now enter the Super 8 phase with Pakistan taking on New Zealand in the first encounter of that stage on February 21 in Colombo.
