After the successful 1st edition of Celebrity Clasico last year, Virat Kohli and Abhishek Bachchan have once again joined hands for a special match between Bollywood stars and Indian cricketers. The Celebrity Clasico 2017 will be held on Sunday evening at Mumbai Football Arena, Andheri Sports Complex. This charity match will see a number of celebrities fighting against each other. The match will be organised by Virat Kohli’s ‘The Virat Kohli Foundation’ and Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘Playing for Humanity’. Virat Kohli’s team includes some top Indian cricketers like MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul along with the tennis star Rohan Bopanna while Ranbir Kapoor’s team has stars like Sidharth Malhotra, Leander Paes, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Shoojit Sircar, Arjun Kapoor and Dino Morea.
The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM IST (1900 hrs IST). The match took place at the same venue last year and ended at 2-2 with KL Rahul scoring a late equalizer for Virat’s team. All proceeds from the match will go to charities. This is not the first time though that Virat Kohli and Abhishek Bachchan have gotten involved with football. Virat is a massive fan of English champions Chelsea and is also involved in the ISL as a co-owner of the franchise FC Goa. On the other hand, junior Bachchan is the co-owner of Chennai side in the Indian Super League. Here is all you need to know about Celebrity Clasico 2017:

Virat Kohli will be the one to keep an eye for. The Indian skipper led his side well last year and might steal the show once again. Apart from him, KL Rahul is also very good with his football skills. MS Dhoni may not be as young as some other players but his passing is second to none.
For All Stars FC, Ranbir Kapoor will the go-to man along with Dino Morea and Shoojit Sircar. Last year, Dino Morea played an incredible ball inside the box from the left wing which Sirkar converted into a goal. The duo can cause problems for Virat Kohli and team this year as well.
