There have been speculations if Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez is moving to Manchester United or not and the Chilean forward has dropped a huge bomb on the rumours. Sanchez has sparked a social media storm with his latest Instagram activity – which appeared to confirm his Manchester United transfer. The former Barcelona player is edging closer to an Old Trafford move, but the deal was not done in time for the 29-year-old to face Burnley this weekend. And while the football fanatics are eagerly waiting for the official announcement, the Arsenal player apparently confirmed that the deal was done. Arsenal fan TV regular Troopz posted a picture of himself with Sanchez outside London barbers, with a caption saying goodbye. Surprisingly, Sanchez liked the post and also commented on it with a pair of sad face emojis.
However, the Chilean, later on, deleted the comment but was too late as the comment had provoked huge reactions from both Arsenal and Man Utd factions. The post was captioned,”I loved this man like cook food but it’s time to say goodbye !!! One common denominator in this deal… Arsene B********* Wenger kmt.”
Meanwhile, the Red Devils manager, Jose Mourinho also admitted that United ‘are there’ on a move for Sanchez, but no deal has yet been done.
“Nothing new,” Mourinho said. “I think clearly everybody knows that we are there and especially when Arsenal manager speaks so clearly like he did there is no point in trying to hide or deny but not done at all. So in this moment Mkhitaryan our player, Sanchez an Arsenal player and with a match tomorrow I want to switch off and focus on the most important thing, which is the match.” “I don’t know [if it is dependent on Mkhitaryan]. Sometimes people thinks transfers involve a lot the managers in the negotiations, I think it depends on the profile of the club, the way we establish our jobs and in my case when it goes to the table of negotiations I like to be out, I am out and I will just calmly waiting for news, no more than that.”
